Born and raised in Santa Maria, California, I developed a strong work ethic early on. I began working at just eight years old, delivering newspapers until I was sixteen, all while being an active member of the Boys and Girls Club of America.

My passion for cars started young and entirely on my own. When I was twelve, I discovered a broken-down go-kart in my parents’ backyard. Tired of pedaling my bicycle all over town to deliver papers, I decided to get the go-kart running. With the help of a few small-engine repair books from the Santa Maria Library, I taught myself how to fix it. After many attempts, it finally roared to life. From that moment on, I was hooked on engines and mechanics.

That early curiosity grew into a lifelong career. I completed four years of automotive training at Santa Maria High School, followed by two years at Universal Technical Institute. I was then selected for the prestigious Audi Graduate Program, an intensive four-month training experience that prepared me for professional certification and advanced factory-level service.

My professional journey began at Cutter Motors Audi in Santa Barbara (2000–2003), where I also attended BMW factory training. This opportunity expanded my skills to include both Audi and BMW systems. I later joined Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz in Las Vegas (2003–2005) and then became Shop Foreman at Las Vegas Audi/VW (2005–2006).

Returning to California, I joined Kimball Motor Company in San Luis Obispo as a Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz technician. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented technicians and mentors in the industry. Experiences that shaped the foundation of my expertise and work ethic.

In 2007, I took a leap of faith and founded German Werks in my hometown of Santa Maria. Since then, the business has continued to grow steadily, fueled almost entirely by word of mouth and the trust of loyal customers. Our focus has always been on providing honest, high-quality service with a personal touch.
